The ledge has a length of 80 cm and a height of 3,3 cm.
The ledge is hung up with two pot magnets.
This mounting method has three big advantages:
1. The often cumbersome exact placement of drilling holes is not necessary. The magnets adhere anywhere on the backside of the ledge, so the drilling holes have to be only roughly accurate.
2. It doesn't matter if the two holes are not exactly horizontally in place! You can still align the ledge precisely horizontally. Of course you can arrange the ledge vertically or diagonally as well.
3. The mounting is not visible and the ledge seems to float 1 mm off the wall. Looks good!
10 small super magnets S-06-03-N are also included in the shipment. The magnets have dimensions of 6 x 3 mm and are more than strong enough to hold postcards, photos and notes.
This simple steel sheet ledge is attached to the wall with two bigger magnets. You can attach photos, shopping list, etc. with the enclosed 10 small magnets.
