FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions (and their answers!)

Which magnets are suitable for magnetic glass boards?

It very much depends on the metal and glass thickness of the magnet board. You will find big differences in quality. Cheaper glass magnet boards need much stronger magnets than high-quality boards.

Metal thickness: approx. 0,5 mm; glass thickness: approx. 5 mm

An affordable magnetic glass board with the articles W-07-N and S-10-10-N

High-quality magnet board

Metal thickness: approx. 2 mm; glass thickness: approx. 3 mm
These boards are relatively pricy at glass speciality stores.
We recommend the following magnets for objects of various thickness:
A high-quality magnetic glass board with the articles M-07 and M-20

Please never place magnets too close together. They might attract each other sideways, collide and break.
Affordable and high-quality magnet boards in comparison. The metal in affordable boards is so thin that it is barely visible on the picture.
