Beautiful, almost frictionless wooden mobiles
Laikingland is a creative collaboration, based in both the UK and The Netherlands, whose intention is to design and manufacture beautifully crafted kinetic objects that engage and evoke a sense of play and nostalgia.
The newest coup of Laikingland are magnetic mobiles. They have three different kinds, each with a limit of 250 pieces.
The very light wooden parts of the mobile are bedded on magnetic spheres and held together with rod magnets. Even a slight puff of air makes them start rotating around their own axes.
