Magnetic thermal mats
- Windscreen cover
- Cotton wads 100 g / m²
- Cotton fabric
- Polyester tape
- Sew-in magnets
First, I made a paper template each for the back and sliding doors of our van. Then I cut the windscreen cover, the cotton wads, and the cotton fabric according to the templates. Please note that I allowed for an additional 5 mm for the seam.
Each thermal mat has three layers: a windscreen cover for cars (with a silvery side), a double cotton wad layer, and a printed cotton fabric.
If you want to fold up the thermal mats, you should place the magnets in the corners and the bottom so they adhere to the top magnets.
