Our project:

After glazing our terrace we wanted to hang up curtains. Unfortunately, we were advised that we could not drill holes for the curtain rods. Then we had the idea of using magnets for that purpose.

Implementation:

We attached the rod mountings with 2 strong block magnets Q-46-30-10-N each on the terrace siding. We used telescope bars as curtain rods that are 2 m long when fully extended, on which we hung our 1,60 m to 1,80 m long linen curtains.
