Cube magnets are a very popular and versatile type of neodymium magnet. Geometrically they are cuboids with identical length, width and height. All cube magnets have their north and south pole on two opposing sides. To detect the poles, you can use a second identical magnet and carefully test adherence and repulsion on the individual cube sides. Applications for neodymium cube magnets

Neodymium cube magnets are great magnets for magnetic noticeboards, metal strips or other ferromagnetic surfaces, such as a refrigerator for example. The ideal product for this purpose is a neodymium cube magnet with a 5 mm edge length (article W-05-N). Its adhesive force is sufficient for postcards, notes, photos, etc. At the same time, the neodymium magnet is small, unobtrusive, does not perforate paper and is easy enough to remove. For thicker cardboard, large posters or for use on a magnetic glass board, we recommend article W-10-N with an extra-high adhesive force.

Many customers also use magnetic cubes for experiments: Simple motors can be built with wire, a battery and a strong magnet. Neodymium magnets are also very popular for building sculptures: Thanks to the smooth surfaces, they are easy to arrange in a row or in a block. If you want to take it a step further, you can make use of the different surface coatings of nickel, copper or gold.

Thanks to their cuboid shape, neodymium cube magnets can be easily glued to other surfaces. This enables you to equip even large objects with magnets and attach them to magnetic surfaces. Obviously, this list is by no means complete.
