With these rubberised magnet systems with hooks in white, you can conveniently attach office accessories, kitchen utensils, clothing, etc. to ferromagnetic surfaces. The rubber-coated magnet systems with hooks reveal their full adhesive force when attached to the underside of thick steel beams and the load pulls vertically downward.
The coating made of white rubber protects delicate surfaces from scratches and the magnet from occasional moisture and splashes. However, permanent outdoor use can lead to rust. The rubber coating also increases the load capacity in shear direction and provides slip resistance (see FAQ about displacement force). Thanks to their white colour, these rubberised hook magnets are less noticeable on light surfaces than those with a black rubber coating.
Please note: The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the magnet system makes direct and full flush contact. Magnet systems start to lose much of their adhesive force at a small distance to the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in magnet systems than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets.
