Description

These rubberised magnet systems with threaded stud work great on delicate surfaces. The white rubber coating not only protects against scratches but also increases the weight capacity in shear direction and makes them slip-resistant. The rubber protects the magnet from occasional moisture and splashes. However, with permanent outdoor use, rust may form. Our ferrite pot magnets, on the other hand, are rust-proof.

Compared to standard pot magnets without a rubber coating, these rubberised magnet systems are thinner and more discreet. There is a steel plate under the white rubber coating with 6 embedded magnets. They are arranged alternately with north and south pole facing up. As a result, you will be able to combine these magnet systems with each other. But please be careful, because once two of these magnet systems are fully joined, it will be very difficult to separate them again.

Please note:
If you want to reposition the magnet system, please do not attempt to remove it by dragging it along the mounting surface. This will damage the rubber coating. Instead, remove the magnet by tilting it with the help of a plastic handle.

The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the magnet system makes direct and full flush contact. Magnet systems already start to lose part of their adhesive force at a small distance from the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in magnet systems than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets. You can find additional fascinating information on our FAQ page about magnet system characteristics.

The structure of magnet systems

In magnet systems, one or several magnets are mounted on a steel plate with alternating poles. This concentrates the adhesive force of the magnets on one side of the system which, in turn, has a positive effect on the adhesive force. The steel plate with the magnets is encased in rubber. For more information, please refer to our FAQ page on the characteristics of magnet systems.
