These neodymium pot magnets have a screw socket into which you can screw in hooks, eyelets etc. The rubber coating protects delicate surfaces from scratches and at the same time increases the load capacity in shear direction. The rubber protects the magnet from occasional moisture and splashes. Permanent outdoor use, however, may lead to the formation of rust. Our ferrite pot magnets, on the other hand, are rust-proof.
Compared to standard pot magnets without a rubber coating, these rubberised pot magnets are thinner and more discreet. There is a steel plate under the rubber coating with one ring magnet that has a multipolar magnetisation. As a result, you will be able to combine these pot magnets with each other. But please be careful, because once two of these pot magnets are fully joined, it will be very difficult to separate them again.
Please note: Carefully tighten the screws, hooks, etc. inside the screw socket only as far as they will go.
The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the pot magnet makes direct and full flush contact. Pot magnets already lose much of their adhesive force at a distance of only half a millimetre to the ferromagnetic surface.
